Summer Holiday Activities - Child's Play

Well it has been a busy few weeks here at The Pigs so the blog has had to take a back seat.  I have to admit I have missed it and am now inspired to begin my blogging once more.

One of the many things I would like to share with you is around the subject of Child's Play.  How to keep children entertained seems even more pertinent due to the limited summer we are experiencing this year.  Children need fresh air, physical exercise and constant entertainment.  I wondered if I could help create happy summer holidays.

We are very lucky to have such wonderful parents who support us with a large proportion of child care.    I know both parties enjoy spending time with Little Miss P, so rarely seek for things to do.  However, as the summer holidays were emerging I thought it might help to create a list of 'Places to Go in and around West Sussex' so they would not run short on ideas to entertain.

Sussex is a wonderful county, sandwiched between the South Downs and the Seaside.  So while I am the first person to jump at the idea of a holiday abroad in search of the sun, I am also very happy to enjoy a staycation when there is so many Places to Go in and around Sussex.

I thought it would be nice to share with you.

I am quite excited if not a little nervous about launching my first PDF download!  I am a beginner so please be kind.  I would love you to let me know what you think.  Would you like more?

So nice to see you again.

Music Mondays - Folk - Fossil Collective

The Dermot O'Leary show really is one of the easiest listens on a Saturday afternoon.  I have to confess to finding his voice quite sexy, which makes for an even easier listen.  The show revolves around great music and highly talented, original, emerging musicians.

So on a dark, gloomy and wet afternoon in the car we listened to an interview with a relatively new folk band called Fossil Collective.  A two-piece band, David Fendick and Jonny Hooker, from Leeds.  In addition to sounding like the nicest boys during their conversation, the music was brilliant.

If you get a chance check out Fossil Collective live on BBC Radio 2.

They remind me of Fleet Foxes.

I'd love to hear what you think of this Fossil Collective – Let It Go

Nice to see you again.
